An immersive and interactive installation/exhibition commemorating the 250th anniversary of The United States of America. ’YOUNG AMERICANS’ is a mini retrospective of selected works by artist Ryan Bock (Bockhaus) from the last 10 years of activity. Through an exploration of historical fact, symbolism, archetypes, and Americana folk art, the exhibition aims to cultivate open dialogue and action from audiences of all creeds and backgrounds. By highlighting some of the more challenging tropes America now faces as a country via visual critique, subversion and satire, this exhibition hopes to create a safe space for difficult conversations within a gallery/museum setting.
